Fishkeeping has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always an aquarium or two around the house and a garden pond, and that fascination never really went away. Over the years I’ve kept different kinds of tanks and explored different corners of the hobby.
My partner and I started AQUATEE for a simple reason: we wanted aquarium t-shirts that actually spoke to us and that we’d want to wear, but we couldn’t find them.
Not generic fish graphics with “aquarium lover” slapped underneath. We wanted designs that felt like they were made by people who actually understand the hobby. The kind of designs that only really make sense if you’ve found yourself staring at your tank for hours, tested your water obsessively, or convinced yourself there’s definitely room for another aquarium.
So we started making them ourselves.
AQUATEE is built around fishkeeping in all its wonderfully obsessive forms, whatever you keep and however you keep it. Some designs celebrate the fish themselves. Others are about the jokes, frustrations and oddly specific habits that come with keeping them.
AQUATEE shirts are designed by fishkeepers, for fishkeepers. It’s a way to take a little bit of the hobby with you when you’re not standing in front of the tank.
